This is an ErectaStep access platform installation to maintain a cold storage warehouse air curtain.

This ErectaStep platform installation at a semiconductor facility in California gives the CNC operator surefooted access to a vertical machining center. This platform is 9′ with a 3′ and a 6′ wide stair. With the 6′ wide stair, stock can be loaded into the machine without obstructions (like a handrail). As you can see from the photo, the platform is sturdy, secure with an aggressive grip pattern on stair and platform surfaces. It was designed to simplify the manufacturing process and giving operators OSHA compliant access to the CNC machine and its controls.

Maintenance workers who service and repair equipment on rooftops often encounter a variety of obstacles. Many companies routinely ship dry goods, liquids, and gases in tanker trucks. These substances are often hazardous and can pose serious risks to drivers and employees. For instance, chemical burns, breathing in dangerous chemicals, and static discharge that can cause a fire or explosion.
