Leaders in Petroleum, Upstream, Midstream and Downstream Safety Solutions

With over 15 years of trusted safety products and solutions for Refineries, Distribution Terminals, Pipelines, and Storage Safety, SafeRack has you covered.

Downstream operations include the processes involved in converting oil and gas into the finished product – refining crude oil into gasoline, natural gas liquids, diesel, and a variety of other energy sources. Product arriving in this section of the industry in the form of crude oil will then be transported from refineries as gasoline, diesel, or jet fuel, as well as heating oil, fuel oils, lubricants, waxes, asphalt, diesel oil, kerosene, and liquified petroleum gas.

SafeRack provides the equipment needed to keep employees safe and expedite product loading and unloading.

SafeRack has a knowledgeable and dedicated team ready to answer all questions in these areas, both at the refinery and the receiving/distribution terminals.

Because of the changing footprint of natural gas and liquid petroleum gas (LPG) facilities, including their web of piping, the industry presents a perfect application for crossoverswork platforms, and other safety systems to ensure safe and efficient work areas.

Loading arms
No Matter What You’re Loading, SafeRack Has You Covered

SafeRack can provide the equipment needed to keep employees safe and expedite product loading and unloading. Typical loading systems include platforms, canopies, and gangways wide enough to accommodate maneuvering of the loading arm and improve access. All systems are equipped with safety gates, eyewash stations, traffic bollardsgrounding systems, and lighting because SafeRack knows loading and unloading don’t always happen during daylight hours. Loading arms, control valves, and metering equipment provide reliable solutions for loading and unloading product with little downtime for maintenance and repairs. Extended gangway handrails and articulating outboard handrails are also available. For the ultimate safety option, the MaxRack, the only elevating safety cage on the market today, can be added to the system.

Front End Engineering Design Studies, through to Engineer, Procurement & Construction all under one roof.

With in-field experts on hand, SafeRack is available for discussion months, even years before your project has an FID (Final Investment Decision) Often, the earlier a dialogue begins, the better the end result will be.  Also known as the Execution Phase, the EPC phase of the project generally follows a FEED (Front End Engineering Design) phase.

The FEED is the basic engineering design used as the basis for the EPC phase. The FEED is usually divided into separate packages covering different portions of the project. Other manufacturers may claim to be an EPC, but knowledge and expertise in custody transfer loading and unloading are what set SafeRack apart. These same characteristics will ensure a superior, cost-effective, and future-proof solution for your project.

We prefer to use SafeRack than a solution that doesn't last and is not certified. We prefer to use normalized equipment with an expert like SafeRack, than some patch up solution that doesn't survive time and is not certified. Plus, our SafeRack representative, John Nance, took care to keep us informed of the project status every step of the way.
